RBI's Reference Rate for Dollar Today
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Thursday fixed the reference rate for the US dollar at 50.9055 rupees and the euro 67.4035 rupees.

In 2011, companies around the country scored $32.6 billion in 3,209 venture capital deals.
The corresponding rates of dollar and euro for the previous day (March 21, 2012) were 50.5935 rupees and 67.1366 rupees respectively.
Based on the reference rate for the US dollar and middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rates of British pound as against the rupee is 80.7718 as against 80.3425 on the previous day (March 21, 2012) and that of Japanese yen is 61.09 as against 60.44 the previous day.
