"Jersey Shore" star Nicole Snooki Polizzi seems to be practicing for her baby's arrival with the help of a baby doll.

Snooki along with friend Jenni JWoww Farley is filming for her own spin-off show in Jersey City. The self-proclaimed Princess of Poughkeepsie and JWoww stepped out in the city this week, carrying a baby doll in tow.

Snooki and JWoww, who are co-starring in a "Jersey Shore" spinoff, purchased strollers for their practice of carrying infants and they later went shopping to a children's clothing store to buy clothes, People magazine reported.

The reality star was later pictured holding her doll draped in a cheetah-print blanket, pushing it in new strollers and feeding the dolls with bottles.

The 24-year-old star earlier this month confirmed to US Weekly that she is pregnant with her first child and engaged to boyfriend Jionni LaValle.

"Thank You everyone!! Sorry about that wait but glad everyones happy!! Nicole and I are real excited!! Our baby is going to be #ShortnTan," LaValle wrote on Twitter.

Earlier this month, MTV confirmed that Snooki will be appearing in "Jersey Shore" season 6, but they have not revealed how she will be involved.

Latest reports say the controversial TV show will include new cast members.

According to TMZ, producers are planning to "phase out" Snooki and The Situation and bring on some new talent.

"495 desperately wants to keep things fresh -- and folding in new castmates will help transition the show into a new generation ... while still keeping old fans hooked," TMZ reported quoting a source.

"495 plans to limit Snooki and The Situation's roles on the new season -- giving new cast members more screen time instead."
