Adele does not seem to be the type who would keep her mouth shut after standing close to Chris Brown when the latter snubbed the standing ovation for Frank Ocean's Grammy win Sunday night. When Ocean's name was announced as the 2013 Grammy winner for "Best Urban Contemporary Album," the audience rose to a standing ovation for the musician. Brown notably remained in his seat, although he did join the applause for Ocean. Adele, standing just a few seats away, was seen looking at Brown while shaking her head in disappointment. Some reports said she later "yelled" at Brown over his demeanor.

"I love @OfficialAdele. And this would be awesome if it were true... but I don't think it is," tweets user mikeconneen. Mike was referring to a Metro news, which said Adele appeared to have gone on the attack to "unleash a verbal torrent at Rihanna's rekindled lover after he lost his manners."

The Daily Telegraph reported, "Countless people have wanted to give Chris Brown a piece of their mind. But it took a ballsy British balladeer to do it."

Various media reports imply Adele did give Brown a verbal beating for the snub. Brown, according to reports, appears to have been embarrassed. Later on, they were photographed smiling together, as if all ends well. Many readers find the "scolding" report easy to believe, since Adele does not shy away from speaking up about things that matter to her. And music, as well as musicians, matter much to the "Someone Like You" singer.
